Freedom Day Network's Story
At the age of 25, while on a date with my future wife, I made a prediction – I would be a young millionaire and retire from my engineering career within the next 10 years. While I didn't know at the time how I would achieve this, I knew that this is what I wanted.
I had a good start by having graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Upon graduation my employment brought me to the Silicon Valley. I started my new career, I enjoyed the extra cash, and I started investing in the stock market. Plus, with steady salary increases I made the maximum contributions to my 401K, and even talked to a financial planner. I thought I had it all figured out. Then I did my own calculations (did I mention I'm an engineer?) and realized that with the combination of my salary, 401K contributions, and stock holdings I would have enough money to retire – at the age of 67!
Needless to say I was disappointed. Like many others, I started researching how others created financial independence in shorter timeframes. I learned that the majority of today's millionaires started out in real estate. To my surprise about 90% of millionaires owned real estate and multiple corporations.
I started reading books, attending wealth building seminars and buying real estate investment programs. Soon I became frustrated because most of the strategies didn't apply to me, the material was contradictory and none of it painted a complete picture of what I could do today to achieve my wealth building goals. I found that many wealth gurus were no longer actively practicing the outdated wealth strategies they were selling.
Despite a lack of clear direction from other "experts", I decided to get behind the driver's seat and start by investing in real estate. Then I transitioned my career by working as an engineering contractor instead of a W2 employee. I learned from a few good mentors how to put all the pieces of the wealth by design puzzle together. I made some mistakes but more importantly I learned from those expensive lessons. One of the most important lessons was about the power of a wealth TEAM. This enabled me to make even better investments and grow my different businesses.
Over time I created a truly diversified portfolio. I invested more into real estate, developed a syndication, and kept a limited amount of funds in stocks, oil and gas. I began to leverage other people's money, invested directly in business opportunities and more.
At the age of 34 I left the engineering world and achieved accredited investor status. My prediction had come true in only 9 short years. Now, the greatest joy for my wife and I is being the primary care givers (not the daycare center) of our young family.
I didn't start out wealthy but I did start out with the desire to build wealth. If you have this same desire and are committed to applying what you will learn then we are committed to saving you time, money and mistakes. We are passionate about coaching and wealth building and look forward to being part of your wealth TEAM. This is the essence of why Freedom Day Network was born.

Margaret Shebalin, Spiritual and Wealth Coach
Margaret began her path as a wealth builder when she fearlessly moved to Arizona in her twenties and began buying property. She trusted her intuition and always found a way to accomplish her goals.
Spirituality has always been part of Margaret's life. Spirit gave her strength through the tough times as she ventured into the unknown as she relocated around the world.
While taking advanced spiritual training, she realized that many of her fellow students believed they had an obligation to be poor. She realized that if they had lofty goals they needed money in order to accomplish them. Despite the tendency to separate the two sides of human experience, Margaret realized that the two work hand in hand. Money really is spiritual. Money is the vehicle that puts ideas into motion.
Margaret loves to help individuals become whole and to eliminate conflict within themselves. With a spiritual and rich outlook on life, she helps her clients live on purpose and create more wealth.
